Thumbs up Pilgrims Oak Golf Course

I had occassion to play at Pilgrims Oak Golf Course last week. What a beautiful and challenging track. The couse condition was nice for this time of year, greens in good condition and not to slow. Really nice views of the surrounding farm land. Lots of different challenging lies as the course plays through some hills and valleys.

The course includes an interesting par three that plays at about 170 yards, slightly down hill with the entire front of the green guarded by a pond, a real nail biter for those that often come up short.

Hey the food was even good, I had a wonderful pork barbeque sandwich at the turn.

If you haven't played Pilgrims Oak Golf Course I reccomend you give it a try, it's located south of Lancaster, down route 272, in Peach Bottom.
