We finally made it out to a game at Clipper stadium last week. Our Lancaster barnstormers were playing Bridgeport and won. While the forecat had called foe rain it turned out to be a dry night and a cool one at that for June.

While neither of us are particularly baseball fans we really had a nice time and found the evening to be a nice change of pace. It would appear that Clipper stadium is being well maintened as it still appears like new and very clean. Lancaster can truly be proud of their stadium.

The food was good and not overly expensive as I've found at other sports venues. And, I was even able to have a hand dipped Turkey Hill mint chocolate chip ice cream cone, a reminder of my youth when both Pennsupreme and Turkey Hill hand dipped ice cream at all of their convenience stores.
