Default Deer or Spotlighters

It's very had to tell which is the bigger of the two pests.

As a landowner, I can assure you that at this time of year I'm starting to understand people's strong dislike for hunters, especially deer hunters. I want to be able to enjoy my property, the reason for which it was purchased. I want to walk and or ride my horses on the property without having a spotlight shown on me. I want to be able to safely lead my horses out in the evening without them becoming spooky because someone is rudely shining a light about when I've asked them to stop. You do not need to be shining it ON them to spook them. It is unreasonable to expect that an accident must happen before this irresponsible and rude behavior is stopped.

I very sincerely hope the hunters reading this start to band together as a community and demand from their fellow hunters that they respect the landowners wishes. It is little wonder there are fewer and fewer landowners welcoming hunters on their property and hunters are viewed in such a dim light.

I can sincerely assure you that instead of worrying about the invasion of hunters I will investigate other ways to control the herds as well as prevent the invasion of my property. If it means putting a privacy fence up then I'll invest in that. This means another 100 acres gone from the hunting community and the hunters will have no one but themselves to thank for it.

I'm tired of it.
